Dr. Ibrahim, assalamu-alaikum|
I would like to thank you for this uniqe page that one of the brothers called it "MARBOU'A", but I want to go farther than he did and will call it "the Libyan embassy," for so much it kept me personally and my familly close to my home Libya.
From what I am going to talk about, you will understand that my letter is about the NY meeting at the UN Libyan mission office. I have one thing, that I would like every concerned Libyan to think of "WHO IS ON THE OTHER END OF THIS FISHING ROD"?
From what all of us know, we are aware that the embassador Dorda (and I am not saying Mr Dorda because he does not deserve to be called Mr) represents the tyrant Gadaffi. In my equation Dorda is the fishing rod, the meeting is the hook and we supposedly are the fish, so who is on the other end of this equation? There is only him and no other. The murderer of our brothers and the ruler who led our home land in the past 30 years to nowhere.
I remember when I was younger my grndfather hated this man and his system and one day I asked him why he did so, and he answered that this man and his mafia did things even the Italians did not do during the occupation.
As I read one of the brothers' letter, the brother who said that he has been in the USA since 1960, I was surprised of his statements, he was giving Dorda all the credit like he knows him for years and he forgot that Dorda is one of the main men in Gadaffi`s gang.
I would like to ask every one who attended that meeting and shook hands with Dorda: Do we seem to be forgiving or do we just tend to forget very fast? Not even two weeks ago all of us heard about the hanging of one of the people who personally worked for Gaddaffi for no reason but for having different opinion, and hundreds more were victims of Gaddafi. Myself, I lost two of my uncles in the fight with this gang and some of you possibly have lost either a familly member or a friend.
It will take long long time to list the crimes that this man and his gang have commited against our people and our nation, and maybe they were thinking that they can wipe-off our history very easy and so fast.
I want to conclude this letter by saing NO, NO and NO WAY we will forgive the murderer of Libya and the Libyans, and one day we all will face Allah and each of us will get what he or she deserves.
I will insha-Allah keep writing regarding this issue and please no one should tell us stop talking about it, it`s our country and it`s our problem.
Wa assalamu alaikum.
