Assalmu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh:|
Thank you ya Dr. Ibrahim for the efforts you make for the sake of all Libyans. I am interested in the letter shown lately by Abu Haitham [ Letters: 7 Dec. 1999 ] and I highly appreciate and agree with every letter he wrote. I also would like to thank him for his efforts to awaking the sleeping conscience in our hearts.
He pointed at the real problem of our dilemma, the far distance between our Islam and us. That’s the real problem, although some of us, who seems to us, highly educated trying to find different analysis far away from this point about the situation in Libya. “If there were enough Libyans with true grasp of Islam, they would've realized from day one that the regime is illegitimate no matter what banners it raised.” You put your finger on the wound ya Abu Haitham. Jazaka Allah-u khairan for that letter and I have an insisted request: The Libyans, especially the simple ones like us, need such highly open minded and knowledgable people like you. Please keep on writing and keep reminding us with such issues.
In the occasion of the Holly Ramadan, I would like to send my deepest regards and complements for all the Libyans. I ask Allah (swt) the greet patience for all of them, especially for the Libyans who lost or missed the lovely ones, under the Dictator El-Ghathafi’s regime for more than 30 years. Let’s all pray and make duaa for all of them, and ask Allah (swt) that this Ramadan is the last one for El-Ghathafi and his gang. In-shaa Allah we will attend next Ramadan in our beloved Libya among our families and friends. Allahuma Ameen.
