To the Zwarian citizen

To the Zwarian citizen [Letters: April 2, 2000]

Morals, values, and beliefs mean nothing!! Language, centuries of history and identity...have no value. The symbol of a nation is "Bazeen and Cuscos". Those great people have invented the black and red wool hat (Kabboos or Shanna) and they will put it on the Libyan flag when the glorious Zwarian Empire returns to the world.

The long letter of the great Zwarian philosopher comes with two broad lines:

First: Strip the Libyans from their religion. We don't need to believe in anything. Islam brought nothing to the region but retardation and dictatorship and has no solutions to offer. We don't even need to believe in God or to have any idea about the purpose of our existence in this universe. The message of Islam is, according to our great Zwarian thinker, nothing but extreme long-bearded terrorists, the exact image which the stereotyper westerners have in mind. Our philosopher, who, probably, was born and raised in one of those Libyan villages and has spent his childhood playing "Wabees" bare-footed in the unpaved narrow streets, forgot what the "Sheek" was telling him while striking his head with the long olive tree stick in the "kattab" back then and here he is lecturing us that religion is not that important.

Second: Change the identity of the Arab Libyans to a dwarf primitive tribal nationalism which has been disappeared from earth 5000 years ago. Now everybody belongs to his tribe, family or town and later to himself.

The result:

We will, eventually, be able to build a great democratic, modern nation out of clusters of primitive creatures who have no common belief or whatsoever. The only things we will be proud of are "Bazeen" and "Cuscos".

Well, thanks for the wisdom Mr. You are genius!
