Dear Dr. Ighneiwa, It appears to me from most of the previous letters that people who either oppose or pretend not to like the way things are in Libya, have very narrow view of reality and do not allow for other points of view or other opinions - no matter how reasonable those opinions are. Instead of putting down every effort and shutting every door, why not be open-minded and try to listen and hear the logic and reasonableness of other people. Maybe if we start talking to each other and have a forgiving spirit - may be then we can accomplish some thing. To live away from Libya and put everything down without seeing how it is like to be in Libya, is at best unreasonable. I have been traveling to Libya every couple of years, and have enjoyed every visit with my family and relatives. People respect you in Libya. You feel a sense of belonging that you never have felt abroad. I think many people with unfavorable views of Libya would change if they visited their home town or village. Please do not waste your lives being lost, wake up and have some common sense. Make arrangements to visit your homeland. You will feel much better. Sincerely, An Engineer from Libya |
