We thank you Br Mohammed Buisier for reminding all of us of that tragic incident. I still remember that sad afternoon in Al-Istqlial street in Tripoli. I still remember walking close to Al-Shuhada square, where I saw group of people crying and shouting with tears on their faces, when I asked about the matter, I was told that Israel had shut down our 727 plane and killed all its passengers. We expected the leaders of Egypt, and the hero of Arab nationalism ( Gaddafi ) to do something, ... back then, no Camp David and no peace process were in our vocabulary, and no total submission to Israel was ever dreamed of ... back then we were about to throw Israel for the second time into the sea ... but nothing happened. We thank you Br Mohammed, and may Allah (SWT) bestow his mercy upon al-Sayid Saleh Mas'oud Buisier and all the innocent victims of Flight 114. Ali al-Sherif |
