Dear Dr. Ibrahim|
Thank you for making my comments public so we can share our thoughts:
First I would like to make it clear that my comments are not directed solely to
Dr Abdullah Abounamah but it encompasses all the Libyans teaching anywhere in any University outside Libya, Libyans carrying Ph.D. degrees, M.D. degrees or their equivalent and I did not mean those who are still undergraduates and still not able to teach.
I strongly value human life and strongly oppose the killing of Libyan souls anywhere in the world, in fact the only reason a soul can be put down is if it had committed murder intentionally, under no circumstances political or any other a man can take the life of another man and if he does so, it is like he has killed all mankind on earht as the Koran said. This is our biggest fault, we tend to fall in the third world where: if he is against me better kill him. This should clarify any ill thoughts that might have occured as a result of my previous comments. All I wanted to make clear is: if all of us educated Libyans leave Libya, who will stay behind? only wolves and lions ... right! That is like a deserted farm, first wild weed grow in it then thorny plants then snakes and spiders appear, then lions and wolves and then you cannot enter your farm again or you would be eaten.
Educated Libyans have great responsibility to develop the nation and keep it on track. As far as Gaddafi, he will go as he came and what will remain is good deeds and good reputations. Gaddafi should rather worry about the souls hanging on his and his followers neck. What will he say to ALLAH sooner or later?
