Dear Adrar Nfousa, I may be late reading your letter, but I just happen to know lately about this interesting site. Anyhow, what I wanted to add to your letter is one fact I know personally about Abu-Zaid Dourda that may help in showing the real personality of this man. For the sake of people who are still in Libya I’ll not mention real names, but the story is true. One night in the early eighties, a group of armed men with their faces covered in Ghadafi’s style attacked a villa in Ben-Ashour. They harassed the old lady and her two daughters who lived there alone, and asked them to leave the house instantly in the middle of the night. Next morning the villa became the new residence of Abu-Zaid Dourda’s new pride from Zentan. Whereas, the old lady had a stroke, and lost her memory and the ability to speak and move for the rest of the short years left of her life. I hope that if anyone believes that Abu-Zaid Dourda is different from his god-father Ghadafi, will know better now… Al-Salam Alikoum, Wahda Trabulsia |
