In spite of being advised by many friends and supporters not to answer any more such posts here I am doing it again. I promise you my friends this will be the last post I respond to or for that matter send to Dr. Ibrahim's site. I have better things to do and can serve Libya in another capacity. I know you warned me that I will be prey to the hyenas but I did not listen. I am sorry and I thank you for your valuable advice. I also want to thank you Dr. Ibrahim. I was not aware of your page until this year and I really did enjoy reading all the posts, the good and the bad, as well as the ugly. Thank you all for writing them especially al-Gerbal. Every time I read your post I am transformed for the duration to my beloved city of Benghazi.

To Mr. Abdelgader Aziz

I have just read your post and all I can tell you is our saying "illy mush feek barda." Was I angry? You had better believe I was furious because I do not like wolfs in sheep clothing. You cannot imagine the personal hurt that resulted from the article by anonymous. Maybe you don't get angry at being called a traitor to Arabism but I do, and all I can say is good for you and well done. I cannot expect you to understand my sentiments for after all you and anonymous are both "Democratic PROFESSIONALS" and I am not. You talk of democracy, but that is not your goal. The goal is character assassination that has nothing to do with democracy and everything to do with Dictatorship. Not all people are rotten and not every person is a liar. Only rotten people and liars assume that. Furthermore in democracy, you do not kill people unless they are guilty without a shadow of a doubt. Your system of judging represents the Qathafi way where you shoot first and then ask me to democratically explain myself. Ya mathloum Imaak Allah but first of all, I will tell you what I told your friend, if he is your friend. I did not know that my name was on the Journal and I never did any work for them. I challenge you to find ANY work or even ANY reference to any work I did for them, ANY conference I attended for them, ANY book review I wrote for them, a single letter or number attributed to me, I did for them, anything at all. I am not trying to cover the sun with anything, least of all YOUR sieve. You are free to believe or not to believe. In both cases I do not really give a damn about what you think or believe or how many philosophical articles you borrowed to write yours. If you think you can impress me by sounding a few borrowed ideas, you are wrong. Accusing me in Arabic, English, or in Greek of something I did not do will get you nowhere. I am not going to explain myself to you in any language because whatever I say will fall on your ears that are as far as I am concerned deaf by choice. You have already made up your mind and it makes no sense trying to explain myself to you. You assumed the worse in me. Do you know me to do that? Have you ever met me or have I given you any reason to assume that? Besides, you are very well aware of what I will say and hence there is no need for repetition. I have nothing more to add and you will hear the same thing over again because that is the truth, except for one thing. Academics like me document our achievements in what we call a vitae. Mine was made available on the net long before the anonymous letter. I have no doubt that both you and Anonymous have access to it. You will find in it my association, the courses I taught, and my administrative experience and other information. I promise you will NOT find the Middle East Quarterly in there. If you know you are an editor on Journal in your field of study, wouldn't you document it? So tell me please why is it that I document every organization I am associated with except that? Another conspiracy perhaps? I thank you for trying to impress us with your knowledge of Greek philosophy, how about impressing us with some logic now.

Since the issue is so important to you, let me make it easy for you. If you hear of something I said, tell everyone you know not to believe me because I am a traitor to the Arab cause. If you hear of a talk I am making tell your friends and anyone who will listen the same thing. Go ahead and warn all the Arab organizations in the world to watch out for me because I am an Arab traitor. And if that is not enough then write a short manuscript about my treachery and have Mr. Elrrishi publish it for you in his publishing house. Both of you agree on my treachery. Don't read my works, don't consider me an Arab, consider me a Zionist if you want, and finally be my guest and carry the banner of Arabism all the way to Jerusalem. Just do me a favor and stop this B.S you are shoving down my throat. I get enough of that from my students, every semester and I certainly do not need any more from you or anyone else like you.

Finally I do not know you, I never heard of you or read anything by you, or heard of anything you did for Libya or the Arabism. My advise to you is instead of preaching to the converted of which I am one by the way, is to go out and put yourself on the front line with anonymous, and there first confront Pipes, followed by Mr. Qathafi. There you will find the Arab and the Libyan glory you are so desperately seeking and have thus far eluded you. You will not find it by attacking me, because I am not in a position to give you any satisfaction. I have had enough of peddlers of Arab Nationalism, and we are not buying anymore. Good Luck and I wish you all the best. By the way I use a Macintosh and unfortunately there is no decent Arabic software for it. If any of you good people know where I can get some software please let me know. So ya ustath Abdelgader Aziz I am sorry I cannot make your wish come true, so your wonderful borrowed prose will just have to do for both of us. Again good luck.

Mansour Omar El-Kikhia, Ph.D.
