Dear Mohib Al Libi:
I read with interest your article. I found it to be constructive, and I fully support all that you wrote, with one exeption pertaining to exclusion of those speaking on behalf of Gaddafi's dictatorial regime. They have to learn that genuine democracy, by its definition, allows all views to be heard, no matter how disagreeable or repulsive they might be. We have the choice not to respond, and we should not.
Once we begin to exclude views because of their unacceptable nature, just where do we draw the line? It is also important for readers of this page to see that these individuals (Gaddafi's mouthpieces) are devoid of logic and common sense. We should never let our anger lead us to acts that are contrary to our democratic ideals, by denying them the right to free speech.
