Before It Is Too Late

Dear brothers and sisters, who live outside Libya:

As a libyan , I would like to mention a very important issue regarding something which we all forgot. We forgot the basic thing to keep us going, we forgot the issue of brotherhood and solidarity to each other. If I ask, How many Libyan families live in poverty in libya. The answer will be, so many, alot of our brothers and sisters back home suffering in silence. Wallahi, I know honourable people only Allah knows their difficulties, they decided to keep away behind their closed doors while their children are dying from hunger and starvation, and only their Libyan dignity and nobleness are holding them back from begging in the streets . It is shame on us if we could not help them, if we did not build the bridge to support our people.

Alhamdolillah, there are so many Libyans working in different specialities outside Libya, and they are financially very secured and prosperous, so why don't they take their responsibility towards their people, at least assisting some of our people in Libya will prevent so many families from being abused by the hungry scavengers who are waiting to take advantage of their needs.

I believe this is the issue which needs to be addressed very seriously. Let us stop blaming each other, and try starting to do something of benifit to our brothers and sisters back home. Everybody knows where the defect is, but our problem is that we are engulfed by it and not looking around us, and as a result, we lost the opportunity to understand the extent of the conspiracy plotted against our people in Libya.

Let us now start if we really care, before it is too late.

Wassalamo alaikom

A concerned Libyan
