I went back and read some letters from different authors and dates. I found that many people are repeating the same things over and over. Most of their letters are emotional and everyone was trying to express him/herself against the others. I found myself sometimes doing the same but not to intimidate others or use bad language. We have a problem and if we do not work together we will not get our aims. All of us want Libya to be heaven for Libyans. Gadafi is damaging Libya and he will carry on and on. We must stop him by the help of all Libyans including those who are close to him. Libya now is in a very dangerous move taken by Gadafi. This move is another disaster to all of us. His plans are to try and shift what he able to shift to Africa. He thinks it is a political move and Libya and the Africans will gain a lot from it. Nothing to compare the African nations with Europe or South East Asia. Africa is very poor, diseased and very backward. It will be very difficult to even stop a single fight in one country. It is not stable region and war is in every corner. Gadafi wants to fulfill his dream and he doesn't care about Libya or its wealth. We are as a nation should stand firmly and prevent moving any money or other resources to help Gadafi dream come through.
Some of the letters by Abu Musaab and Fouad saying that Libya has the largest medical center in Africa. This center based in Tripoli. We always saying we have the largest and biggest and greatest in the world and even we have greatest gamaharia. The outcome can not be measured by the size of a building. Yes it is very large center but what is the outcome. Libyans still go to Tunis for cataract removal and for head scans. Libyans still go and buy their insulin from Tunisia and travel to Jordan for fertility treatment. Go and ask any household and find out who has not been treated in Tunisia or other overseas countries. Measuring by the size of buildings will not help Libyans, delivering the services is the important thing. How many difficult surgery done in this center. As I heard from many colleagues who visited or worked in this center, I don't think this center will last for another 12 months. There is no maintenance done for the new equipments. There is severe shortage for all the solutions and materials for all the labs and wards. The doctors are not there and only junior doctors who are interested in doing any work. The consultants and highly qualified doctors are very busy doing private work. The rest of doctors left the place to other hospitals as a lot of politics going on inside this hospital. You have to be one of the prominent tribes member otherwise you will be kicked out. I wish this center will be managed in a proper way and be given the chance by the government to serve people and deliver high standard services. Unfortunately this will never happen as the planning is very wrong.
It is very important to plan every thing from running day to day services and future planning. We are lacking all of these. We build and give management and organization to one of ElTawerian who has no single idea about managing such high standard places. He/she will start acting as if this place is his own home. He will bring all his friends and relatives to help him to run the place. He wants to be the chief of staff for everything. Abu Musaab, if you are one of these people and had done mistakes like this, go and try to prevent this from happening again if you love Libya and want her to go forward. The truth is you can not do that as everyone of ElTawerian is not convinced that he/she has done something wrong. We always make mistakes but we learn from them except Gadafi and ElTawerian. I know these are the facts about one of the largest health centers in Libya and Africa which Abu Musaab chose to talk about it. If Abu Musaab wants to give us facts and numbers from inside this center that will help us to convince hundreds of Libyans to visit this center and to halt Libyans from going to Tunisia and Jordan every week for all simple and complicated medical problems. We are waiting; do something to prevent another disaster, Abu Musaab.
Fouad talks about 17 universities in Libya. It is also another great number as our friends like the word "great". What are these universities? Of course all kind of universities, law, economics, medicine and sports etc …. It is great to have a university in each big city in Libya. It is very important for the family and students especially if they are female student. The number of students is getting bigger and bigger and Gadafi wants to cut the government employees by 50%. What will these universities graduates do when they graduate? The demoralized students will be faced with gloomy future. No jobs and no source of money. By these are Gadafi and Ahmed AlBahim ideas of education in Libya fulfilled. The graduates from these universities can not stand for their rights even at a corner shop. Their life was built on fear and systematic demoralization since the early days of primary education. Many of the graduates can not secure even their daily spending money. They can not use their mind to think as nothing left for them and all doors are closed. Poor students, as they can not express themselves at any level even at home and worse at a university. Gadafi wanted them like this and no one can stand up now and say anything to Gadafi whenever he delivers a lecture. Before, at least one or two will stand to him and ask him questions which will make him very angry and soon that guy will be taken away and he will be lucky if he will be released after ten years. These days students will be forced to shout and bunch the air and dance in front of Gadafi. Even Gadafi find it is not very interested to go to university and deliver lecture as no one understand what he is planning, good or bad. This is how the 17 universities produce very effective graduates to serve Libya according to Gadafi wishes and his ElTawerian. Not to mention student union which is dominated by ElTawerian and fabricated by Gadafi.
It is very sad to mention these facts which I think all of you are aware of. You can not hide it from anyone. Whatever you write or trying to get behind the words you can not avoid the fact that education and health systems in Libya are falling apart. If you and me and Libyans can not do something about it now. we will regret it all our life. Our graduates are suffering and these people are the ones who will take Libya's future to the front line. Healthy and organized nation is always on the top. Do not worry about Gadafi, he is having few more years and he will go and Libya will stay, but we should do what we can do and to start now. If we start doing it we should do it the right way this time. Good luck Abu Musaab and Fouad. ElMared is asleep in his pot now, as Gadafi is away and he may use him to get the African union dream come true.
Good Bless Libya and the Libyans.
